IESE Future Female Leaders Award 2027: Three-Day Barcelona Experience

Applications open for IESE’s Future Female Leaders Award 2027

IESE’s Future Female Leaders Award recognizes women professionals who embody IESE’s mission and are investing in their personal and professional development. Selected awardees are invited to Barcelona for a three-day experience from January 26-28, 2027, including the Women in Business Conference on January 27, networking and career-development sessions.

Application deadline: October 28, 2026 at 23:59 CET.

Who can apply

IESE is seeking a small group of women professionals who have demonstrated excellence and want to make a positive contribution through their careers. The stated profile is generally 2-10 years of professional experience (with some flexibility), strong academic and professional achievement, alignment with IESE’s values of integrity, spirit of service and excellence, and a commitment to participate actively in the FFLA and IESE communities. IESE alumni and current students are not eligible. Applicants also must not already be enrolled in, or committed to attend, another business school at the time of the event.

What selected awardees receive

  • Invitation to IESE’s Women in Business Conference in Barcelona on January 27, 2027.
  • Networking events and career-development sessions at IESE’s Barcelona campus as part of the three-day agenda.
  • Two nights of shared hotel accommodation in Barcelona for eligible awardees, plus meals. A single-room supplement may apply for those who choose not to share.
  • Reimbursement of up to EUR 300 in travel expenses for awardees traveling from outside Europe and the UK. Reimbursement is made after the event and may take up to two months.
  • An IESE Full-Time MBA application-fee waiver for awardees who later apply.
  • Awardees who are admitted to the Full-Time MBA and are top performers in the application process may be eligible for FFLA scholarships. IESE states that past FFLA awardees have received scholarships ranging from EUR 5,000 to EUR 50,000. Selection for the award does not guarantee MBA admission or a scholarship.

The FFLA application includes written and video responses. GMAT/GRE scores are not required for the award application. IESE expects to notify selected awardees by November 24, with travel proof due December 11.
